    Team cycling event during the LIVE bike section of the Kona Ironman World Championships
    Saturday 12th October – Wave Leisure Centre Littlehampton, Spin bike room
    17:30 – 23:00 (Apologies to those who usually swim Saturday night, but the timing is fixed, so chose your discipline for that date.)

    All money raised, including entry fees go to MIND (Tuff Fitty’s charity partner)

    Total cycling time = approx. 4.5hrs
    Teams of 4, 3, 2 or 1. (Organise your team in advance)

    You MUST bring sweat towel(s), trainers or bike shoes that fit the pedals (SPD- mountain bike style cleats), comfy cycling shorts, fuel as required (bars, energy drink, etc – nothing messy)
    Water, bananas and toilet facilities will be available

    17:25/17:30 Ironman swim starts for males/females
    17:30 ALL Tuff’s in the spin room
    17:30-17:50 Teams choose a bike and EACH person notes THEIR setup, i.e. height of saddle and handlebars and saddle distance from handlebars
    18:00 First riders in the team spinning before first athlete finishes the swim
    18:10ish First riders all start their bike clock as first male athlete leaves T1 and mounts their bike …. WE’RE OFF!!

    For info …. 4:12 is the current men’s record for 180km! … 4:26 is the current women’s record

    22:40ish First female off the bike and into T2, stop your bike clock … WE’RE DONE!!
    22:45 Clear up, clean down bikes and get home asap to watch the run😊

    Entry fee: £20 per bike
    1 person = £20
    2 persons = £10 each
    3 persons = £6.66 each
    4 persons = £5 each

    Prize for the team (2,3 or 4) who completes the most km – overall and mixed/female team
    Prize for the individual who completes the most km – male and female
