Tuff Activity Camp: Fri 23rd Sept – 26th Sept

The next Tuff Taining camp has been booked for Friday 23rd September through to Monday 26th September with the location a lodge holiday park set in landscaped woodland around three lakes at Warmwell in Dorset.

Accommodation has been booked in lodges on a first come first served basis with a cost for the weekend of £55 per person.

Dorchester is 6 miles away and Weymouth 8.  One of the reasons for this location is that the Park is right on the bike course of Ironman Weymouth, a two lap course which we anticipate using large sections of for our bike training. Those of us who have raced this course when it was a Challenge event, will testify to the beauty of this part of the Jurassic Coast. Perhaps you may view as a recce to enter the 70.3 or full Iron distance in 2017?.

Facilities are various on a site stated to be undulating.  The full programme for the weekend will be put together over the coming weeks. It worth managing expectations that whilst there is a swimming pool (heated) on site it is billed as a fun pool with flume and wave machine.  However if you are really keen to be seen flailing your arms around,  the park is also the location of a Snowsport centre with a 110m ski slope!! For those seriously energetic amongst us, Costa Coffee, Alpine Bar, Fish and Chip takeaway are just some of the facilities on site.

Some of the onsite activities see a charge levied so we would welcome any thoughts as to the programme for the weekend if you wish to do more than our standard multisport training sessions.
