A Tuff action
Sunday once again. Well done to the 23 competing at the
Happy New Year.
18 club members got their resolutions off to a great start at this
morning’s Hang Over 5 run up to Cissbury Ring and back – a hilly
muddy course. Congratulations to Polly, 1st lady overall & Simon
King first male TF to cross the line

Tuff Fitty kicked
off their festive season in style this morning with their Christmas
Cracker Aquathlon. Fancy dress is positively encouraged for the run
stage and the membership certainly rose to the occasion as the photo
testifies. Amongst this quality it was hard to pick a winner, but
the judges chose Glenn with his towering Father Christmas stuck down
a chimney & Andy S, Tiff & Jim, for their festive Coca Cola lorry;
well done everyone.

What a blast as “Tuff did Hellrunner” this
morning. We all elected to run en masse splashing everyone, climbing
the hills and running straight through the water together, A huge
Tuft of Fitties crossed the line together before another massive TF
BBQ afterwards. Great fun all round, we have certainly got your
number… as the before and after shots testify. Despite 20 Tuff’s
racing this still left other TF’s out at

Fantastic turnout
at today’s South of England Relay Championships at Southwater. The
biggest club contingent there with 16 teams of three. The largest
and most vocal group present in the Park, and with the largest flag.
Congratulations to all, from our first time Triathletes through to
the award winners on the day – what a club

An
excellent turnout both in numbers and quality at the inaugural Birdman
swim organised by none other than our very own Steve Feest. Beautiful
weather also brought the Tuff Fitty cheerleaders – and plentiful supply
of food out in force. In the 1k swim, TF’s took the first four places
home, Congratulations to Rizey, Andy S, Damon & Christian F. Also
present was Ian M just outside the top 10.
Rizey, Damo & Christian combined to win the team prize.
‘Supersizing’ in the 2k swim in order of TF finishers were Kev,
Leanne & Anthony all within 16 seconds of each other and combined to be
2nd team. Leanne 2nd Female, and Alice 3rd Female.
Also racing were Lee, Andy G, Dave N, Les, Mark, Christian
P, Danny, Becky, Sophie & Remy – 19 Tuff Fitties in all

A splendid
turnout heading toward 50 Club members at this evenings Midsummer
Aquathlon. Whilst some had come to shout support 28 competed, with
Tiff the first lady home followed by Sue & Leanne. In the men’s race
Christian Faires was the champ followed by Stew & Anthony. Tiff &
Christian received a trophy each for their efforts with all
competitors gaining a medal. Great to see many of our newer members
coming along -
Watch out for our next

Another busy
weekend of racing for Tuff Fitty. In the 4th Club championship race
at the Mid Sussex sprint
Tri, 15 TF’s took part with
Dominic Chapman first TF & 3rd place overall, with Christian Faires
in 9th place. Miki Floyd was the first TF lady home. Meanwhile up in
6th-June
Tuff Fitty had 23
entrants - 21% of the field for the inaugural REP Ironman swim.
Whilst 6 used it as a precursor to their full Ironman event, it was
great to see some of our most recent members take the plunge. Add to
the mix 18 club members who came along to cheer and it proved
successful. Well done to Kev, Leanne and Glenn, our first members
home

Scorching weather
today, and some scorching times in the heat. At the Beaulieu ˝
Ironman (club champ race) 7 TF’s were up very early to jump into the
Beaulieu River and dodge all the New Forest Cows and Ponies on the
bike. Great performance from Stew to be the fastest TF.
Closer to home an incredible turnout at the Arundel Sprint
and Long course Tri. Brilliant performances with Dominic Chapman
first TF & 1st position overall with David Risebrow in 2nd overall
(Congratulations.) 13 TF’s took part in this race and special

A very interesting evening when we were visited by the Lucozade Sports Scientist. Pre & post Wednesday Run weigh-in's graphically illustrated the importance of hydration. A huge stack of free samples ensured all those in attendance found it beneficial
